Meet Andrea, Your Esthetician in Woodland Hills
My journey started way back in 2001. I've loved esthetics since I was a kid, but I didn't realize you could make a living out of it, so I went to nursing school instead. After working in a salon, I realized I could do this full time, and since it never felt like "work" to me, I could do it my whole life. (That's how much I love it.) I've been a licensed esthetician since 2003, and in June 2020 I opened Bare Skin & Wax in Topanga Village.
I suffered with acne and went through Accutane twice. An esthetician helped, but it didn't last, so I started learning all the ins and outs of skin to help people like me. That's why acne treatments, Hydrafacials and customized facials are my happy place.
When you walk into my studio, I want you to feel like you're catching up with a long-lost friend. You're not a number to me. You're a person I genuinely care about and want to take care of.

A Little More About Me
Mama to Mateo, my rambunctious 9-year-old little man. Cafecito every morning, no exceptions. A night out means a michelada or a lychee martini, and home by 9:30, because that's my idea of wild. You'll catch me on long walks through Target, getting my nails done or dancing. Being a girl is the most fun ever, and as a Libra, anything that makes life prettier is my thing.
I'm a proud ADHD girly and an introvert at heart, so if walking into somewhere new feels like a lot, I get it. I'm down to earth, a lot of fun, and yes, a little bit of a potty mouth. Quirky? Totally. But dead serious about helping you. And if I don't know the answer, I'll find out.
